“I knew KLA rocked when monitoring a leadership discussion. The groups were all discussing how they felt the school year was going. I heard students discussing what they could do to make it better. I then overheard another group across the room begin their sentence with, “Well it’s our responsibility to make sure…” I had parents share with me the difference it made in their children at home. As an educator hearing those words warms your heart.”

“As an educator, I actively seek opportunities to enrich the lives that God has given me influence over. The Klondike Leadership Academy provided authentic experiences for my students to grow beyond the curriculum, and for that I am truly grateful! One of the most rewarding moments for me, was watching them make a donation to the pantry at Life House Church. They were given information about three local charities, but since many have benefitted from the kindness shown there, the students decided they wanted to pour back into them. My students grew because of this experience, and words cannot begin to express my sincere gratitude to HealthCARE Express and the entire KLA Team!

“I enjoyed the leadership program this year because it was well organized and easy to use. The program encouraged the students to think for themselves and take responsibility for taking on helpful tasks and leadership roles. The students really enjoyed the different programs and began to think of more things they could do to help others. I also liked the program because it encouraged our school and students to get more connected to the community by having people from the community come in to speak and having the students do community projects like sending cards to the nursing home.”
